Hello all, I hope you're doing alright~ I had a good week, it was definitely an eventful time. :)
On Tuesday, we went to a lake by Mt. Geumseong, and there were tons of blossoming cherry trees! Now most of the blossoms are gone, but on that day it was windy, and the falling petals made it seem like there was a blizzard on a sunny day. It was definitely unforgettable.
On Thursday, we moved apartments, but we're still in the same apartment complex, haha. And we're actually closer to the church, which is surprising, since we're only about a 2 minute walk away, but now we can see the lovely Naju "temple" from the 10th floor.
Fun fact: When Koreans move into a new home, they celebrate by eating 짜장면 (Noodles in some sort of black sauce), so we went to Chinese restaurant and did so, and it was a good time.
On Saturday we had a an activity with the youth and other members, and I taught them how to make s'mores. :) It was fun teaching them, since they had never had that kind of experience before, and the youth really seemed to like it. We didn't have graham crackers but we found some similar cookies that did the job.
On Sunday, I had a fun little experience.
I was looking for my name tag, but I wasn't able to find it after a few minutes of not finding it, I just grabbed a name tag that I received in the MTC (It only has my name in Korean), and went out for a bit.
We came back to the house for a bit, and I sat down and read my scriptures, and I read 3 Nephi 14:7-8. At that moment I looked up and saw the name tag that I was looking for, almost as if someone put it there for me. :)
I'll share that scripture for this week, and I want to let you know that God watches over us in the little things we need just as much as the big things. He loves all His children.

Transferencia 14, Semana 2- Una casa nueva entera (algo asi)
Hola a todos, espero que estés bien. Tuve una buena semana, definitivamente fue un momento lleno de acontecimientos.
¡El martes, fuimos a un lago por el monte Geumseong, y había un montón de cerezos floreciendo! Ahora la mayoría de las flores se han ido, pero en ese día hacía viento, y los pétalos que caían hacían parecer que había una ventisca en un día soleado. Definitivamente fue inolvidable.
El jueves, nos mudamos de apartamentos, pero todavía estamos en el mismo complejo de apartamentos, jaja. Y en realidad estamos más cerca de la iglesia, lo cual es sorprendente, ya que estamos a sólo 2 minutos a pie, pero ahora podemos ver el precioso "templo" Naju de la 10ª planta.
Algo Divertido: cuando los coreanos se mudan a un nuevo hogar, celebran comiendo 짜장면 (fideos en una especie de salsa negra), así que fuimos al restaurante chino y lo hicimos, fue un buen momento.
El sábado tuvimos una actividad con los jóvenes y otros miembros, y les enseñé cómo hacer s'mores. :) Fue divertido enseñarles, ya que nunca habían tenido ese tipo de experiencia antes, y los jóvenes realmente parecían gustarles. No teníamos galletas de graham pero encontramos algunas galletas similares que hicieron el trabajo.
El domingo, tuve una experiencia poca divertida.
Yo estaba buscando mi placa, pero no pude encontrarla después de unos minutos, asi que agarre una placa que recibí en el MTC (sólo tiene mi nombre en coreano), y salimos por un momento.
Regresamos a la casa un poco, y me senté y leí mis escrituras, y leí 3 Nefi 14: 7-8. En ese momento levanté la vista y vi la etiqueta de nombre que buscaba, casi como si alguien me la pusiera allí. Unesdoc.unesco.org unesdoc.unesco.org
Voy a compartir esa escritura para esta semana, y quiero que sepas que Dios vela por nosotros en las pequeñas cosas que necesitamos tanto como las grandes cosas. Él ama a todos sus hijos.
