Transfer 13, Week 5- #평강의 왕

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a spectacular week~

So this week, like the last few weeks, has gone by so fast. I don't even know where to begin..

So on Tuesday our preparation day activity was going to a palace theme park in Naju, where a lot of dramas were filmed- I'll include photos of the drama posters, and if any among you have seen any of said dramas, let me know! Haha.

I'll skip to Friday. We started teaching English to the firefighters at the fire station, and I just love teaching English. It was also fun the way we ran the class. I translated for Elder Zaugg when he spoke English, and I was just so astonished at how far I've come in the language, even since I've come to Naju. The Lord works wonderful miracles for His children.

Speaking of Korean, I just want to express my gratitude for being in a Korean speaking mission- the language is extremely hard, beyond my expectations when I entered the MTC. However, being forced to say only the simple sentence or two in a teaching appointment has helped me see the simplicity of the gospel, and I continue to actually take personal study notes in Korean because it puts me in a simplifying mindset, writing only the things that matter most. I will be touching on this at a later point.

Went on exchanges with the zone leaders, and it was fun going to appointments and working with members.

And now, the title of the email. Many of you may know about the Easter initiative #PrinceofPeace- I invite you all to take a look at the video when it comes out (what, mormon.org? I'm not sure), and think about the peace that has come to you or that can and will come to you through the Atonement and Resurrection of our Lord, the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. I have found a lot of peace through this Book of Mormon scripture, when I lost a family friend of mine while in my second area.

Mosiah 16:8

But there is a resurrection, therefore the grave hath no victory, and the sting of death is swallowed up in Christ.

Have a good week. I testify that Christ is the source of the remission of our sins, and that the remission of sins is the source of our peace.

¡Hola a todos! Espero que todos tuvieran una semana espectacular ~

Así que esta semana, como las últimas semanas, ha pasado tan rápido. Ni siquiera sé por dónde empezar ..

Así que el martes nuestra actividad del día de preparación fue un parque temático del palacio en Naju, donde se filmaron muchos dramas - incluiré fotos de los carteles del drama, y si alguno entre usted ha visto alguno de dichos dramas, déjeme saber ! Jaja.

Me brincare hasta viernes. Comenzamos a enseñar inglés a los bomberos en la estación de bomberos, y me encanta enseñar inglés. También fue divertido la forma en que dirigimos la clase. Traduje para el élder Zaugg cuando hablaba inglés, yo estaba tan asombrado de lo lejos que he llegado en el lenguaje, incluso desde que llegué a Naju. El Señor hace milagros maravillosos para sus hijos.

Hablando de coreano, sólo quiero expresar mi gratitud por estar en una misión de habla coreana - el idioma es muy difícil, más allá de mis expectativas cuando entré en el MTC. Sin embargo, ser obligado a decir sólo la oración simple o dos en una cita de enseñanza me ha ayudado a ver la sencillez del evangelio, yo continúo tomando notas de estudio personales en coreano porque me pone en una mentalidad simplificadora, escribiendo sólo las cosas Que más importa. Me referiré a esto más adelante.

Fuimos a intercambios con los líderes de la zona, y fue divertido ir a citas y trabajar con los miembros.
