Hey everybody! We got transfer calls yesterday,an our lovely district of 8 people will all be staying! It is good. :)It was also very surprising- that almost never happens to a district.
Anyway, we went to Dabosa last preparation day! We rang a giant bell, and saw lots of cool stuff. See pics below.
On that Tuesday evening, we went to a members home, and he ordered Korean Chinese food (Way better than American Chinese food, in my humble opinion), and ate 양창피, an assortment of seafood and vegetables covered in a wasabi-like mustard sauce. Though not spicy to the mouth, when you swallow your nose feels like it snorted cocaine on fire. It was fun.
On Wednesday, the Mokpo sisters came up to Naju to meet a female investigator for English, and we helped them around the area, and then dropped them off at the train station. The investigator has potential. :)
Friday the 17th was Elder Zaugg's 6 month mark! Time is so fast... We celebrated by eating chicken.
On Saturday our branch had a meat party- we played some sports and ate tons of barbecued pork. :)
Last week I mentioned CPR! When I was with Elder Bustamante my first transfer in Naju, a firefighter came up to us and told us he had met missionaries years ago, mostly for English, but he remembered some of the things the missionaries taught. Anyway, he invited us to participate in a CPR competition held at the fire station, in which we would be the first foreigners ever to participate in said event. Gotta try all the finding ideas, right? :)
Long story short, we participated and got 1st place. The next round is on Friday the 24th in Hwasun, and if we win we go to nationals. It's been a great opportunity to spread the name of our church in a fun and interesting way. The chief of on of the departments took a copy of the Book of Mormon from us, and now we're all super friendly with all the firefighters.. haha #스콰드
Anyway, use your talents to glorify God! Don't waste the wonderful gifts God gave you, just be sure to dedicate your success to Him.

But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.

Transferencia 12, Semana 6- Llamada de transferencia.
Hey hey todo el mundo! Nos dieron las llamadas de transferencia ayer, nuestros distrito de 8 personas encantadores nos se quedamos todos! Es bueno. También fue muy sorprendente que casi nunca le suceda a un distrito.
De todos modos, fuimos a Dabosa último día de preparación! Llamamos una campana gigante, y vimos muchas cosas interesantes. Vea las fotos a continuación.
En ese martes por la noche, nos fuimos a una casa de miembros, y él ordenó comida china coreana (mucho mejor que la comida china americana, en mi humilde opinión), y comimos 양 창피, un surtido de mariscos y verduras cubiertas en un wasabi-como mostaza salsa. Aunque no es picante a la boca, cuando se traga la nariz se siente como que bufó cocaína en llamas. Fue divertido.
El miércoles, las hermanas de Mokpo se acercaron a Naju para reunirse con una investigadora para ensenar inglés, nos ayudaron en la zona y luego las dejamos en la estación del tren. El investigador tiene potencial.
¡El viernes 17 fue la marca de 6 meses del élder Zaugg! El tiempo pasa tan rápido ... Celebramos comiendo pollo.
El sábado nuestra rama tubo una fiesta (parrillada) - jugamos algunos deportes y comimos un montón de cerdo asado.
¡La semana pasada mencioné CPR! Cuando estaba con el élder Bustamante mi primer traslado en Naju, un bombero se acercó a nosotros y nos dijo que había conocido a unos misioneros hace años, principalmente por el inglés, pero recordó algunas de las cosas que los misioneros le enseñaron. De todos modos, nos invitó a participar en un concurso de CPR (Reanimación cardiopulmonar) en la estación de bomberos, en la que seríamos los primeros extranjeros en participar en dicho evento. Tengo que probar todas las ideas de encontrar, ¿verdad?
Larga historia, participamos y conseguimos el 1er lugar. La próxima ronda es el viernes 24 en Hwasun, y si ganamos vamos a los nacionales. Ha sido una gran oportunidad para difundir el nombre de nuestra iglesia de una manera divertida e interesante. El jefe de los departamentos tomó una copia del Libro de Mormón de nosotros, y ahora todos somos super amigos con todos los bomberos .. haha # 스콰 드
¡De todos modos, usa tu talento para glorificar a Dios! No desperdicies los maravillosos dones que Dios te dio, solo asegúrate de dedicar tu éxito a Él.
