So on Wednesday the 4, I went to Daejeon for a trainer and trainee (T&T) meeting. I had to get up at about 4:40 in the morning. Fun stuff. But yeah, T&T was so great! I got to see the people I came with to Korea from the MTC, and it was fun catching up and hearing stories. I learned a lot too. :) I also got some business cards with my face on it, so we all traded cards like Pokemon or whatever.
Also, My trainer was in an area teaching an investigator from Mexico, and we were going to visit her while we were in Daejeon, but she wasn't able to meet. Bummer.. oh well.
So Obama... Since I'm one of the Lord's more diverse sheep in this area of His flock, many people think I'm from Africa, even though I told them distinctly where I'm from and where my parents are from. So yeah, I've been called Obama more than once.. Fun stuff.
"Amen"- So, we have a baptismal date! He's known Elder Hernandez for a while now, so he likes him a lot. We were teaching him English and then we started talking about the church and becoming a member, and so my trainer turns to me and I have to say the baptismal invitation, and after I say it, the spirit just fills the room.
And he says "Amen". Which is a yes :) I hope he'll be ready by the 22nd of the month; he has a smoking problem, but anything's possible with God :)
So yeah, the fall is getting prettier here, and it just takes my breath away. If you want to invite someone to hear the gospel, be direct, like my trainer. Being direct brings miracles, and beating around the bush wastes precious time to prepare for salvation.

¡Buenos días! Espero que todos ustedes haya estado bien, y que la gracia de Dios haya estado presente en sus vidas.
Así que el miércoles 4, fuimos a Daejeon para una (T & T) reunión instructor y el estudiante. Me tuve que levantar a eso de 04:40 de la mañana. Cosas divertidas. Pero sí, la reunión fue grande! Pude ver a la gente que vino a Corea del MTC conmigo, y fue muy divertido ponerse al día y escuchar historias. Aprendí mucho también. :) Yo también tengo algunas tarjetas de presentación con mi cara en ella, por lo que todos cambiamos tarjetas como las de Pokemon o lo que sea.
También, Mi entrenador estuvo en un área enseñando a una investigadora de México, íbamos a visitarla mientras estábamos en Daejeon, pero no pudimos reunirnos. Que chimbo ..
Así que Obama ... Como yo soy uno de los más diverso ovejas del Señor en esta área de su rebaño, mucha gente piensa que soy de África, a pesar de que les dije claramente de donde soy y de donde mis padres son. Así que sí, me han llamado Obama más de una vez .. Muy gracioso.
"Amén" - Entonces, tenemos una fecha de bautismo! Él es conocido de Elder Hernández desde hace un tiempo. Le estábamos enseñando Inglés y luego empezamos a hablar de la iglesia y convertirse en un miembro, por lo que mi entrenador se vuelve hacia mí y yo tuve que decir la invitación bautismal, y después que lo dije, el espíritu solo lleno la habitación.
Y dice: "Amén". ¿Qué es un sí :) Espero que estará listo el día 22 del mes; tiene un problema con el fumar, pero todo es posible con Dios :)
Así que sí, el otoño es cada vez más bonito aquí, y simplemente me quita el aliento. Si quieres invitar a alguien a escuchar el evangelio, ser directo, como mi entrenador. Ser directo trae milagros, y andarse por las ramas es perder precioso tiempo para prepararse para la salvación.
