Transfer 11, Week 6- Transfer calls

Hi all! I'm in Mokpo, the very southwest corner of the mission. We're going to hike, so this email will be short.

We got transfer calls today! So I'm staying in Naju, and my companion is going to Jungang with Elder Bradshaw! I will miss him a lot, I haven't felt so much love for a companion like Elder Bustamante. He's my Amulek. It was a privilege to be his half trainer. Mahal ko po ang mga Filipino~

So yeah, I'll be with Elder McKendrick! He's my shadow 동기 as well (He entered the MTC about a year after me), and having been with him in my last district, I know we'll have a good time. 

So this scripture is a shout out to my companion, showing the power of companionships. It is my desire that my missionary friends study this and ponder it in their hearts: Alma 10:10-12

10 And again, I know that the things whereof he hath testified are true; for behold I say unto you, that as the Lord liveth, even so has he sent his angel to make these things manifest unto me; and this he has done while this Alma hath dwelt at my house.

11 For behold, he hath blessed mine house, he hath blessed me, and my women, and my children, and my father and my kinsfolk; yea, even all my kindred hath he blessed, and the blessing of the Lord hath rested upon us according to the words which he spake. 

12 And now, when Amulek had spoken these words the people began to be astonished, seeing there was more than one witness who testified of the things whereof they were accused, and also of the things which were to come, according to the spirit of prophecy which was in them.

Transferencia 11, Semana 6 – llamadas de tranferencias.

¡Hola a todos! Estoy en Mokpo, en la esquina suroeste de la misión. Vamos hacer senderismo, así que este correo electrónico será corto.

¡Recibimos las llamadas de transferencia hoy! ¡Así que yo me quedo en Naju, y mi compañero va a Jungang con el élder Bradshaw! Le echaré mucho de menos, no he sentido tanto amor por un compañero como por Elder Bustamante. Es mi Amulek. Fue un privilegio ser su medio entrenador. Mahal ko po ang mga Filipino ~

¡Así que sí, estaré con el élder McKendrick! Él es mi sombra (entró en el MTC alrededor de un año después de mí), habiendo estado con él en mi último distrito, sé que pasaremos muy buenos tiempos.

Así que esta escritura es un grito a mi compañero, mostrando el poder de los compañerismos. Es mi deseo que mis amigos misioneros lo estudien y reflexionen en sus corazones: Alma 10: 10-12

10 Y además, sé que las cosas de que ha testificado son verdaderas; porque he aquí, os digo: Así como vive el Señor, ha enviado a su ángel para manifestarme estas cosas; y ha hecho esto mientras este Alma ha morado en mi casa.

11 Pues he aquí, ha bendecido mi casa, me ha bendecido a mí, y a las mujeres de mi casa, y a mis hijos, y a mi padre, y a mis parientes; sí, ha bendecido a todos los de mi parentela, y la bendición del Señor ha descendido sobre nosotros, de acuerdo con las palabras que habló.

 

12 Ahora bien, cuando Amulek hubo pronunciado estas palabras, el pueblo comenzó a asombrarse, viendo que había más de un testigo que daba testimonio de las cosas de que se les acusaba, y también de las cosas que habían de venir, de acuerdo con el espíritu de profecía que había en ellos.
