Hello all! The title says Happy New Year! (Receive many of the New Year's blessings!) I felt really formal at the moment, so I used a really formal level of Korean to all of you. But if you don't speak Korean, I guess that doesn't mean a lot to you, huh? Oh well..
So Koreans say that the New Year is bigger than Christmas... I found that hard to believe. Maybe it's because I'm in the countryside, maybe it's because I went to bed at 10:30, but there wasn't anything noteworthy.
Also, I'm another year older in Korean age! and so are you. I now can say that I am 21 years old. Fun stuff. If you wonder about Korean age, just send me an email, I'll gladly answer your inquiries.
So last week wasn't of much note. I went on a split with Elder Hunsaker, who was in the MTC with me! It's fun teaching with him because him being half Korean he can speak the language fluently, but can also explain things to me in English and help me with the language and culture and whatnot.
President Madsen did interviews with me and my companion on Friday. I love him so much, he's so kind and diligent and understanding.
Yesterday I shared my testimony in church, the first Sunday of the year! It's still really scary, even though I can speak Korean at a decent level. But testifying is great, and we should always testify of the truths that bless our lives. This is my favorite scripture about testimony: D&C 62:3
Nevertheless, ye are blessed, for the testimony which ye have borne is recorded in heaven for the angels to look upon; and they rejoice over you, and your sins are forgiven you.

¡Hola a todos! ¡El título dice Feliz Año Nuevo! (¡Reciban muchas de las bendiciones este Año Nuevo!) Me sentí realmente formal por el momento, así que usé un nivel realmente formal Coreano para todos ustedes. Pero si no hablas coreano, supongo que eso no significa mucho para ustedes, ¿eh? Oh bien..
Así que los coreanos dicen que el Año Nuevo es más grande que la Navidad ... Me pareció difícil de creer. Tal vez es porque estoy en el campo, tal vez es porque me fui a la cama a las 10:30, pero no había nada digno de mención.
¡También, soy otro año más viejo en edad coreana! y ustedes también. Ahora puedo decir que tengo 21 años. Cosas divertidas. Si usted se pregunta acerca de la edad de Corea, simplemente envíeme un correo electrónico, con mucho gusto contestare sus preguntas.
Así que la semana pasada no fue de mucha importancia. ¡Fui en una división con el élder Hunsaker, que estaba en el MTC conmigo!
