Transfer 10, Week 4- Life Lessons

Hello all! I'm a little scattered today, but I am super happy :) Forgive me if my thoughts are all over the place today.

I had a good week! I went on a split with Elder Stroud, and it was a grand time. Also, due to time zone differences we found out about the election results on Wednesday afternoon. Needless to say, I was in for a trip. Interestingly enough, when I tell people on the streets that I came from the US, they always have something to say about Trump and Hillary. Due to the fact that whoever would become president would have a significant effect on the destiny on the Korean nation, the US elections were frequently on the Korean news.

So on my split, Elder Stroud found out about the results of the election, and he being in his last transfer started to worry about the future ahead of him, but we started talking to a guy named Kenneth from Uganda, and after talking about the elections, Kenneth told us something that became the first life lesson that I learned last week:

Life goes on.

It does. God's hand will help us through if we let Him.

Yesterday we met an investigator, and he gave another tidbit of life advice- he basically said we have to be careful with our words:

"Text leaves marks on the mind, but words (speech) leave wounds on the heart."

I have learned a lot last week, and i was able to see tender mercies the past few days.

That's all I have to say for now, but remember that life goes on, and I have found peace in this scripture: Psalms 46: 2,3,10

"2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed,and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 

10 Be still, and know that I am God"

We went to a restaurant after district meeting and sat at this table. Translation: "At the couple table, before eating, if you kiss [make out] cleanly (quick kisses are not allowed) for more than 10 seconds, all people at the table will receive a free drink. PS But male/male couples are not recognized.

 Be happy! Thank you!" ......... I did not get a free drink, for your information.

Transferencia 10, Semana 4- Lecciones de Vida

¡Hola a todos! Estoy un poco disperso hoy, pero estoy super feliz :) Perdóname si mis pensamientos están por todo el lugar hoy.

Tuve una buena semana Fui en una división con Elder Stroud, y fue un gran momento. Además, debido a las diferencias de zona horaria nos enteramos de los resultados de las elecciones el miércoles por la tarde. Huelga decir que estaba en un viaje. Curiosamente, cuando le digo a la gente en las calles que yo vengo de los Estados Unidos, siempre tienen algo que decir sobre Trump y Hillary. Debido al hecho de que quienquiera que iba a ser presidente tendría un efecto significativo en el destino de la nación Coreana, las elecciones estadounidenses estaban frecuentemente en las noticias Coreanas.

Así que en la división, Elder Stroud se enteró de los resultados de la elección, y él en su última transferencia comenzó a preocuparse por el futuro por delante de él, pero empezamos a hablar con un tipo llamado Kenneth de Uganda, y después de hablar de la Kenneth nos dijo algo que se convirtió en la primera lección de vida que aprendí la semana pasada:

La vida continua.

Si lo hacemos de la mano de Dios el nos ayudará si lo dejamos.

Ayer conocimos a un investigador, y él dio otro consejo de la vida - él dijo básicamente que tenemos que tener cuidado con nuestras palabras:

"El texto deja marcas en la mente, pero las palabras (el habla) dejan heridas en el corazón".

He aprendido mucho la semana pasada y pude ver misericordias los últimos días.

Eso es todo lo que tengo que decir por ahora, pero recuerda que la vida continúa, y he encontrado la paz en esta escritura: Salmos 46: 2,3,10

2" Por tanto, no temeremos, aunque la tierra sea removida,

Y se traspasen los montes al corazón del mar;

3Aunque bramen y se turben sus aguas,

Y tiemblen los montes a causa de su braveza. Selah

10 Estad quietos, y conoced que yo soy Dios;
