Transfer 4, Week 3- The End of Everything

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing well. I don't have too much to say. We're still trying to meet with Jose, but he's been super busy. His son Josh got confirmed yesterday, and that was nice :)

Also, last Pday we got a media referral! It was super random, and felt like Christmas. I've only seen 2 church referrals in my time as a missionary, so it's a pretty nifty experience.

In addition to that we went to this place called 해미읍성 (If I romanize this, it'll will be a miserable experience for all of us) or Haemieupseong (I told you). It's in the Seosan area, and was some sort of prison fortress where they brutally persecuted Catholics in the late 1700s. It was fun stuff. It'll look better in the summer when everything is green and alive.

Also, yesterday, Elder Peay and I decided to go to a place called Dobido. It's the End of Everything, as I call it. It's right by the ocean and was a gorgeous view with snow covered islands (it snowed randomly on Saturday night), and wind that cuts through the soul. I loved it, especially because it was the first time I had seen the ocean since I landed in Korea.

4 de transferencia, Semana 3- El fin de todo

¡Hola a todos! Espero que todos estén bien. No tengo mucho que decir. Todavía estamos tratando de reunirnos  con José, pero él ha estado muy ocupado.  Su hijo Josh se confirmó ayer, y fue muy  agradable :)

También, el ultimo  día de preparación  conseguimos una referencia! Estaba súper alegre, y  me sentí como en Navidad. Sólo he visto 2 referidos a la  iglesia en mi tiempo como misionero, así que es una experiencia bastante ingenioso.

Además de eso fuimos a este lugar llamado 해미읍 성 (Si romanizar esto, que va será una experiencia horrible para todos nosotros) o Haemieupseong (Te lo dije). Está en la zona de Seosan, y era una especie de fortaleza prisión donde brutalmente perseguían a los católicos a finales de 1700.

Fue algo divertido. Se verá mejor en el verano, cuando todo está verde y vivo.

Además, ayer, Elder Peay y yo decidimos ir a un lugar llamado Dobido. Es el final de todo, como yo lo llamo. Está justo al lado del océano y era una vista preciosa, con Islas cubiertas de nieve (nevó al azar el sábado por la noche), y  con un  viento que corta hasta el alma. Me encantó, sobre todo porque era la primera vez que había visto el mar desde que aterrice en Corea.

De todos modos, eso es todo para la semana! Espero que les guste las fotos y testifico que Dios vive, Él nos ama y está acelerando el trabajo! Tengan una maravillosa semana.
