Hey all, I'm sorry for the late email, I hope you're all doing well. I am here in Mokpo for 2 reasons: one, we're here to spend preparation day with the elders, and two, the Mokpo sisters left their phone at the Naju train station, so we're coordinating a delivery hahaha.
It was a busy week! We helped the Mokpo sisters move into their new apartment on Wednesday, and we had exchanges on Thursday- I was in Naju with Elder Allen, and he is a wonderful missionary, so disciplined, and a hard worker, straight from the Air Force academy.
Saturday we met with a couple member referrals, and we taught the first lesson, and we set a baptismal date with them! It was probably the first official lesson I can recall teaching with such formality in the church, but it was really good! It's interesting teaching those of a younger age group to their understanding. Being a missionary in Korea for a while, I've been able to learn the gospel terms as well as other Korean terms used in conversation, but teaching one of the kids was an eye opener since there were words that I knew that she didn't. Looking at her, I felt impressed at her purity, and her receptiveness to the message.
This scripture came to mind: 3 Nephi 9:22
Therefore, whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God. Behold, for such I have laid down my life, and have taken it up again; therefore repent, and come unto me ye ends of the earth, and be saved.
Also, yesterday we had district meeting with the zone leaders and the Naju branch president's daughter came to the meeting as well. She really appreciated the experience of seeing missionary life a little bit before she gets to go on her mission. She's preparing well. :)

Hey todos, lo siento por el correo electrónico tarde, espero que todos ustedes esten pasadolo bien. Estoy aquí en Mokpo por dos razones: una, estamos aquí para pasar el día de la preparación con los Misioneros y las hermanas de Mokpo dejaron su teléfono en la estación de tren de Naju, así que estamos coordinando una entrega hahaha.
¡Fue una semana muy ocupada! Ayudamos a las hermanas Mokpo a mudarse a su nuevo apartamento el miércoles, y tuvimos intercambios el jueves, estuve en Naju con el Elder Allen, un maravilloso misionero, tan disciplinado y trabajador, directamente de la academia de la Fuerza Aérea.
¡El Sábado nos reunimos con un par de referencias de miembros, y enseñamos la primera lección, establecimos una fecha de bautismo con ellos!, ¡Probablemente fue la primera lección oficial que recuerdo haber enseñado con tal formalidad en la iglesia, pero fue realmente bueno! Es interesante enseñar a los de un grupo de edad más joven a su comprensión. Ser un misionero en Corea por un tiempo, he sido capaz de aprender los términos del evangelio, así como otros términos coreanos utilizados en la conversación, pero la enseñanza de uno de los niños fue un abridor de ojos ya que había palabras que yo sabía que ella no Mirándola, me sentí impresionado por su pureza y su receptividad al mensaje.

Además, ayer tuvimos una reunión del distrito con los líderes de la zona y la hija del presidente de la rama Naju vino a la reunión también. Realmente apreció la experiencia de ver la vida misionera un poco antes de que ella llegue a su misión. Ella se está preparando bien.
